The list of awarded the Greater Poland Uprising Cross

The list of awarded the Greater Poland Uprising Cross has been prepared to commemorate the Greater Poland Insurgents awarded the Cross. This is the only comprehensive list and it is based on the original acts of the Council of State (1957-1989) as well as the resolutions of the President of the Polish People’s Republic (1989) and the President of the Republic of Poland (1990-1999).

The list of awarder insurgents we would like to supplement with biographies and photographs of both insurgents and their gravestones. We would like to ask you for providing us with such photographs which you can to our email address. Please include the origin of each photo along with the consent of the author or holder to publish such pictures in our project. Learn more…
